Helping Chiropractors was founded by Dr. Howard Levinson. Dr. Levinson graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic in 1984 and practices in the St. Louis area.  Dr. Levinson is a Diplomate of the American Board of Forensic Examiners, and the American Board of Forensic Professionals.

In addition to serving his patients, Dr. Levinson's career path included 20 years as a law enforcement officer with a variety of investigative assignments. He has earned designation as a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) through the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, an Accredited Healthcare Fraud Investigator (AHFI) through the National Healthcare AntiFraud Association and a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) through the American Association of Professional Coders. Dr. Levinson has worked as a clinical investigator inside the managed care industry, responsible for identifying fraud/abuse in many aspects of healthcare including chiropractic, pain management and physical medicine practices.

Dr. Levinson has lectured at National Healthcare AntiFraud Association conferences, the American College of Chiropractic Consultants conferences, and the American College of Forensic Examiners International conference. He has provided guidance and instruction to thousands of chiropractors regarding appropriate coding and documentation to avoid the pitfalls of fraud and abuse, during his lectures to numerous state chiropractic associations.
